About us

CEPI Eurokraft is the European Association for the Producers of Kraft Paper for the Flexible Packaging Industry. It has ten member companies representing a volume of almost 2,5 Million tons of paper produced in ten countries.

CEPI Eurokraft originates from Scankraft, once the organization for the Nordic Kraft Paper and Sack Kraft Paper producers. In 1993, producers from other parts of Europe joined Scankraft and formed its own Sack Paper Division Eurokraft.

CEPI Eurokraft was started as from January 1st, 2000. At the same time Scankraft was closed. All kraft paper qualities were gathered together in the new organization. To stress the affiliation with the European paper industry, the new organization was shaped as a CEPI Industry Sector under the name of CEPI Eurokraft.

In 2009 CEPI Eurokraft joined CITPA – The International Confederation of Paper and Board Converters in Europe – as associated member. By the membership, CEPI Eurokraft has access to valuable information also from the converting side.
